Meet KT Chaloner
With more than 15 years experience in the health and fitness industry, KT has worked with the best from around the world. Most recently, KT has been shortlisted in the top 10 for Personal Trainer of the Year 2012, proving she continues to excel at helping people achieve their personal physical best.
KT is the founder and developer of Power To Be on the back of over 15 years working across the health and fitness industry. Holding several qualifications in Personal Training along with a BSc in Sports Science and MSc in Organisational Change and Development, KT has the perfect mix to not only deliver programmes to help individuals, but also bring these programmes to the workplace. KT more recently has been shortlisted in the top 10 for Personal Trainer of the year in recognition of her expertise in helping people reach their goals.
Her previous work experience has taken KT to the top of the industry. Being part of the senior management team to take the popular Les Mills group fitness programmes such as BODYPUMP and BODYBALANCE across the UK, Europe and the USA has allowed KT to work with some of the leading programme developers and health and fitness experts in the industry. KT now brings her extensive experience and passion back to the UK and her own business, vowing to create programmes for 'real' people; enabling them, empowering them and giving them knowledge and confidence to take control of their health and wellbeing for a long healthy and happy life.
On a Personal Note...
I started my 'fitness' journey at the age of 4 after my mum could find no other way to curb my constant state of being upside down or somersaulting off the sofa and took me to my first Gymnastics class. From that point on, I was privileged enough to both enjoy and be successful in several different sports going on to represent the North West in competitive 4-piece gymnastics and coming 3rd in the National Trampolining College Championships. I now continue to enjoy a variety of sports and am a keen surfer, mountain biker and generally get outdoors and active as much as possible. After leaving University to join the fitness world, I couldn't see my life in any other industry.
